Current requests:
1. First Grade Silouhettes
We need several volunteers that can help with making silouhette outlines of the students for Mrs. Jump, Mrs. Hortch, Mrs. Lewis. This is a project that needs to be finished up this week to be ready for Open House and timing is flexible. If you'd like to help, email to cfish@catfishdesigns.com
2. Dessert Donations
CALLING ALL BETTY CROCKERS AND MARTHA STEWARTS!!! (or just those of you who like to bake)... We are in need of DESSERTS!! Next Tuesday afternoon, we have a special event that celebrates the founding members of PTA called Founders Day and Lifetime PTA members are invited each year. If you would like to help PTA by providing a dessert - cake, cookies, pie, brownies, whatever you like to make, email to cfish@catfishdesigns.com . Desserts can be brought in to front office next Monday (8th) and Tuesday (March 9th by 4:00pm).
3. Officer/Board positions for 2010-11 school year
If you would like to be part of the PTA Board for the next school year, please attend the March 11, PTA Election Meeting at 4:15pm. If you have questions, send email to cfish@catfishdesigns.com or call Cassandra McGregor at 713-628-9380.

Workroom Help - Copies and Preparation of Teacher Materials
If you are interested in working in the workroom, please contact Becky Smith at 281-806-1886. This job allows you to come in whenever convenient for you. Occasionally there are projects that can be done at home.
Direct Donation
If you’re like many parents, your life is very busy. Between going to work or volunteering, taking your children to extra-curricular activities, caring for your home, and running errands, you’re probably already over-extended. Organizing and volunteering at PTA fundraisers is important to you, but you wonder if there might be a way to make better use of your time and get the same or better results for your PTA. Your tax-decutible donation to PTA will help maintain the many services PTA provides to our school community. If you would like to make a donation, send to Ben Bowen Elementary PTA, PO Box 130, Huffman TX 77336. A receipt will be sent to you for your records if you request one.

Throughout the school year, teachers have special items they may need supplied by volunteers. If you'd like to help your child's class, view individual lists here.
WANTED: We need enthusiastic and dependable individuals. Enrich our school with your talents and capabilities! Any person who is concerned with the quality of education and wants to help children can be a volunteer. If you have some "spare" time, we have many opportunities.
Have any skills or talents that you could share? Do you enjoy photography, like to write, decorate, sew, cook, plan events, create? Have some extra time on your hands to come help teachers or children? We want to hear from you.
