PTA Brings Nana Puddin' to our students!
PTA provided a special show for Ben Bowen students when they returned from Thanksgiving holiday on Dec. 1st! Nana Puddin', a company dedicated to
making a positive difference
in peoples’ lives through
laughter, learning
and love, put on a very entertaining and fun-filled show. There were lots of smiles and laughter heard as the students enjoyed magic and puppetry while learning the importance of reaching out to people and reaching up to goals and making good decisions in life.
Special thanks to our Programs Chairperson, Laurie Mensik, and her committee for selecting such an enriching performance for our students!

(PDF format 871k) This is an extra easy way to make money for the school... just send the labels in an envelope to your child's teacher or let them FEED THE LION IN THE SCHOOL LOBBY! Be sure to include student and teacher name so your child can get credit for prizes. The PTA will do the rest! Last year, we raised over $1000. Our goal this year is $3000. School Savings Program & Bank Day
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Can my child still enroll?
Yes. Once they complete and turn in the enrollment form, wait two weeks before sending money to be deposited.
2. Who should sign the enrollment form, me or my child?
The student’s signature is required on the form, not the parent’s. If the child is unable to sign the form on his/her own then you can assist them but it still needs to be in their own handwriting.
3. What are the students saving for?
This is a program designed to teach the student to set their own goals and save money. This program is strictly for the Student.
4. When is Bank Day at Ben Bowen?
You can deposit money at Ben Bowen Bank Day every Wednesday from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
5. Can my student deposit money at Wamu?
Yes. The Wamu branch that we partner with is located in the HEB shopping center, in Atascocita.
6. How can I help with Bank Day?
Volunteers are asked to help on Wednesdays from 8:00-9:00 a.m. If you are available and would like to help, please contact Bank Day Representative, Terri McCloskey Send Email.
